Storytelling is a powerful tool for connecting to an audience. It can help an audience understand the world from the speaker's point of view, express an emotion that isn't always easy to explain, and most of all, it can be fun! This workshop will be a crash course in storytelling, helping participants learn how storytelling can be used in public speaking, writing, performance or even casual conversation. We’ll go over the basics elements of a story, why each element is important and how they can be applied to our own stories. A big focus of the workshop will also be sharing our stories, exchanging feedback and practicing performance. Beginners and experienced public speakers can all benefit from this workshop.
